Mechanical Engineering Co-op - Interiors
From January to June of 2017, I had the pleasure of working at the Tesla headquarters and factory in Palo Alto and Fremont, California. I joined the Instrument Panel team within Interiors Engineering to assist in the launch of Model 3 in early July of 2017. Please read more below to see how I was able to contribute to this historic moment in automotive history.

Instrument Panel
Background
The Model 3 interior is like no other in the automotive industry. Its striking simplicity sets it apart from every other vehicle, including the previous Tesla offerings. With such an increased focus on aesthetics, a focus on well designed and assembled parts is increased proportionally.
While working on this team, I was able to change design, monitor quality, and oversee assembly of multiple parts on the instrument panel.
